What Is catholicfamilycatechism.com? While trying to teach our children the Catholic Faith, we found that all the information that we wanted to teach our children was not available in just one resource. We saw a need for that one resource -- to be able to have at our fingertips something that would contain all the basic Catholic doctrine in it. Since there wasn't that one resource available, we felt inspired to create it ourselves. With much prayer and work, we began our venture to compile what we feel our children need to properly learn their Catholic Faith. While working on this catechism we knew we wanted to make it complete, and yet easy to understand. Also extremely important to us, we wanted to be certain it contained TRUTH -- the truth of what the Catholic Church really teaches. Nearing the end of our our task, we knew this information could be used to help others who wanted to learn about the Catholic Faith. We wanted to make readily available to others what God has so readily made available to us. This is the light that shouldn't be hidden under the bushel. It should be put on a stand and allowed to shine for all who can benefit from it. (Matthew 5:15-16) Who are we? We are a husband and wife with eight children. We are Roman Catholic.
